Program for calculation of the internal resictance of lead-acid batteries

Theoretical Part


The dissipated power, the internal resistance, the cannel current density and the potential distribution of a grid can be calculated with the described approach. The electrical resistance of the electrolyte and the losses caused by polarization were considered only as constant values.

The results obtained with this computer program should be interpret with respect to the above characterized assumptions. Especially comparing conclusions are making sense because most inaccuracies eliminate each other. Based on programming the grids are limited to 5000 branches, 3000 nodes and 800 meshes.
