Program for calculation of the internal resictance of lead-acid batteries

Theoretical Part

The attempt to describe such a complex system as the lead acid battery with all it’s details still exceeds the capacity of modern computers. Therefore we are forced to develop a model which reduces the expense of calculation.

The most important approximation is known as the "macro homogeneous model". These model neglects all microscopic details, which complicate the problem. Only phenomenological equations are used to describe a two phase system (electrolyte – active mass).
